The Aug 10th edition of the Denver Post (second section A) has
interesting articles on government, conspiracy, and Area 51 refusal to
acknowledge workers health complaints. Talks about a lawyer who had his
office locked and classified by the AF. Not to mention Hollywoods
popularization of Government as the bad guy. hmm wonder where they got
that idea, past experience?

STRANGE CLOUD SEEN FROM BULLHEAD CITY, AZ

Subject: Sighting in Bullhead City AZ June 24 1997
I am wondering if there was any explanation for the aerial occurance
in Bullhead City, AZ/Laughlin, NV on, I believe, June 24, 1997? It
looked like a strange, glowing cloud just after sunset due west of
Laughlin, Nevada over the mountains. I was driving south on the
Bullhead City Parkway with my family when it was spotted. We took
several seconds of video. The following day's evening news stated
that it was a missile launched from Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, but Las
Vegas is NORTH of Bullhead City. This cloud was viewed WEST toward
the setting sun. It looked like the moon was shining through the
cloud, but the moon was not in that area on this particular evening.
An object, perhaps a jet, even flew through the cloud at tremendous
speed; this is noted on the video. Edwards AFB and other
installations are in that direction, but this cloud could not have
been more than 30 to 40 miles away. These installations are quite a
bit farther away than that. I have been searching for an explanation
for several weeks, but have not seen any reports from that area. Can
this be explained?

I don't know what you saw, but I have some thoughts...
-- Vandenburg AFB is also in that direction. Missile launches from
there can be seen at twilight. Around January, almost everyone in the
southwest could see the contrail of a Vandenburg launch, even 300+
miles away.
-- How do you know the cloud was 30-40 miles away?
-- Strange, glowing clouds are not uncommon at sunset.

AREA 51 IN USAF YEARBOOK

Subject: Air International / USAF Yearbook article on Area 51
Has anyone brought to your attention the 'USAF Yearbook' which is
published by a Brit publisher which also publishes the very-mainstream
Air International Magazine? There's an article in there on Area 51
which mentions (among other things) the rumors of reverse engineering
UFOs, the rumor that the airbase actually has a private museum of the
various secret aircraft that have been worked on there (so that
someday when the airbase is opened to the general public they can cash
in immediately, presumably! <grin>), and some speculation on some of
the legitimate aircraft programs that may have been worked on there
(like a V-shaped stealthy VTOL aircraft to insert special ops?).
All in all an interesting several page article. I believe that the
author is either Bill Sweetman or Bill Gunston, certainly a
recognizable name in aviation circles.

I've been watching what i call satelites, visible with the naked eye
and only seen at night in the sky moving in all directions but with a
streight line path. My only concern is if you could shed some light on
this for me and tell me what these could possibly be. Every night when
the sky is clear and the moon is past the horizon they can be seen and
usually two or three a night will be sighted. I had one fellow tell me
that they were no more than satelites. I find them facinating, and
it's hard to believe the satelite theory. Only one of these objects
has displayed itself in spectacular form, that being it had shown
itself low in the western sky and seemed to be heading north east a
friend and I watched it until it had moved directly to the north of us
and that only took approximatley 3 to 5 minutes, as it approched this
point it lit up very bright and changed colors from a dim yellowish
light to a brilliant glowing orange and changed its course to direct
north and then went b! ack to the same color as it had previously
been. We were pretty excited thinking we had been watching satelites
and then setting there watching this we began to question ourselves
which brings me to you and my question. I know this space is supposed
to be comments on your site and such but this is the only way ive been
able to reach you to ask my question. I hope you do not mind, and hope

Mr. Phillips ignorant reference to Jews as "bastards" proves nothing
more than his belief in the lowest form of self expression. Mr.
Phillips also has an obvious lack of education, along with a serious

am shocked that Mr. Phillips even has access to the technology of a
computer.

aera 51 may be in the process of beig closed up. a underground test in
the last series has leaked into the new chow hall-barracks aera
axxording to a san diego contractor on site when this occured. the new
construction site was abondened, trucks, equiptment and all. way to
hor for humans. this happened in the early eighties. i heard about it
in 1987 while working at nellis afb in north las vegas. i have
repeatedly heard the same storie from that time on. no changes, no
adds, no take aways.

I believe in UFos and outher paranormal activities. I also believe that
the government has or has knowledge of aliens and their transportational
devices. Why the government is holding back information is beyond me.
Hopefully, in the future we will find out. I have come up with a list
of several plans to get into area 51, Groom lake base and other highly
classified sites.
1.) I will register for the amerd forces and become a sentry or high
ranking officer at one of tese sites. Being able to get u all of the
necessary informationyou request.
2.) A risky idea is to gather a mass of people, and we could get news
people an all sorts of media, and we could storm the gates down. The
government can't stop us because we are on land that "does not exsist".
What do you think?
