Okay, I flipped the head in my tape deck up-side-down and proceeded
to play one of the "Gene and Bob show" tapes.  I clearly hear in the
beginning (in reverse, of course):  "The devil is with us, we're all
going to prison".  An associate heard (later in the tape): "There are
evil matters, shut your mouth" (sounds like Bob and Gene to me!).
Other than that, it all sounds like Scandinavian...

Yes!  I really modified a tape deck (took all of five minutes), and
you CAN hear phrases in the reverse speech -- but it's a stretch...

The Gene & Bob tape I used, was the one with Lane Keck on the show.
