A few minutes ago KLAS-TV in Las Vegas broadcast a George Knapp news report on Area 51 and the hazardous waste lawsuit. There was nothing new in the report itself: shots of the border signs, sound bites from the widow Helen Frost, sound bites from the lawyer Jonathan Turley, pictures of an emaciated Robert Frost just before his death, etc. The only news is that the U.S. Appeals Court in San Francisco will be hearing arguments in the workers appeal next week (apparently Nov. 5). George Knapp made several references to the injured workers taking a long, dusty bus ride into the base, which seems to be an error. I thought only Lincoln County residents took the bus; the rest flew. Knapp promises more on tommorow's 6 o'clock news, but it hardly seem worth cranking the VCR for. +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | U F O M I N D - M O T H E R S H I P | | "World's Largest and Best Organized UFO Website" * | | *** | | GLENN CAMPBELL - Moderator & Webmaster ***** | | ******* | | Area 51 Research Center campbell@ufomind.com ********* | | Las Vegas Annex http://www.ufomind.com | +------------------------------------------------------------------+
