Just found your site.
For 4 years I flew out of Travis (CA) into Groom Lake. 4 days on, 4
days off, for fire protection. Lots of us did, on USAF C-130's. No
big deal. Lot's of uptight, VERY anal folks around, and yea, lot's of
weird shit happens there.
A few pre-req's. Everyone of us had to be single???

Your Navy correspondent has it right as far as I am concerned, also.
This does not correctly conform to the formats I have seen.
The line of sub-topic is portion marked again with the classification.
However, if this were done correctly the sub-topic should be identified
as paragraph (ie 1.a., 1.b., etc.)
I, too, admit that I could be wrong. But I don't think so in this case.
The wording used in the MJ-12 documents has always bothered me. Does
not seem to be "military."

In checking out the UM catalog, I saw the Warning Shirt and in
particular the statement: "It is unlawful to enter this area without
the permission of the installation commander". OK. Here's the dumb
question:
Has anyone ever followed this advice and asked for permission? Would
they at least have to supply you with the name of the base commander?
Obviously, you wouldn't get the permission, but perhaps the source of
the denial might yield some useful information.

[Yes, many have tried. You get back a useless form letter, something
to the effect that activities in the Nellis Range complex cannot be
discussed.
A much more useful inquiry would be to obtain the document which
cedes control of Area 51 from DOE/AEC to the Air Force. Since the
land still appears, on public documents, to be controlled by the DOE,
there must be such a document turning control over to the AF. It could
be a Rosetta Stone for Area 51. (FOIA requests for this document
return the nothing and an appeal has not been answered.) -- GC]

Very Important - I am trying to find out if this place exists. It would
be apx. 1 hr. drive on desert roads to area 51. 10 to 15 min. drive off
a black top (possibly a highway) on desert roads. A newer southwestern
style home, stucco home with a pool under a glass dome in back yard, all
fenched with a high block wall. About 200-300 ft. away is a large
rectanglular metal building. The building backs up to a small hill, has
1 single door and 2 high garage type doors on the far end. Since you are
familar with the area I thought you might know if there is such a place
in that area. I do not believe it is in a posted restricted area. If you
have any information on such a place I would greatly appreciate a
respondence . Thank You.

Such a place probably does not exist within an hour's drive of
Area 51. There is nothing within that radius but trailer homes.
(Nothing with "style," southwestern or otherwise.)
The nearest southwest style home would probably be in Las Vegas,
about 2-1/2 hours from Area 51 on mostly paved roads."

on june 24th was stopped by military on desert,out of moab utah.was on
