Re: Military to Test-Fire Laser Against Satellite
Mark Farmer points out that he has a whole article on the military laser
system in the current (September) issue of Popular Science. (Not to be
confused with that downscale lawnmower publication Popular Mechanics which
gave us the "New Area 51".)
The article is "Sabers of Light" -- New laser weapons breathe life
into an old Star Wars plan for missile defense.
