The gear they're using is a joke. An A1200 and DCTV? I had one of those
a few years ago. It is a slow-scan capture device. Meaning the VCR must
be paused to grab an image. Meaning in turn the effective resolution of
the captured footage is 320x200 pixels. Add to this the fact that the
DCTV unit suffers from severe artifacting and you get a totally
inadequate solution for image analysis.
Add on to that the newspaper article posted on ufomind.com about the
amateur astronomer and his sighting of the lights where he identifies
them as small aircraft and I think you have a well orchestrated hoax.
