An article in today's Las Vegas Sun reports on the dismissal of Dean Radin from his UNLV position. UNLV researcher baffled over his recent dismissal September 16, 1997, Pabe 8A By Debra D. Bass "Dean Radin once believed UNLV to be a paragon of academic freedom. Then he was fired. Radin's research into psychic phenomena, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition and the possibility of life after death, generated about $500,000 in research and grant money during his four years at UNLV." For full article, see... http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/archives/1997/sep/16/506297740.html ---------------------------------------------------------------- What is the real story? Was he "fired" by a certain wealthy philanthopist who happens to be one of the university's biggest donors? Or was his research just too "weird" for this backwater university? -GC
