I've seen Glenn on TV, like most, and I've always found him to be
engaging and mildly charming, as well as exceedingly tolerant of
others' opinions and ufology in general.
I can't even imagine him hurting the feelings of the most ardent
spaceship ruthie types with subtle sarcasm, staying somewhat in the
journalistic mode as an observer of human nature instead.
I know I'd be crushed by the comments this poster makes, untrue as
they obviously are, and I'd like to apologize to Glenn in behalf of
those too childish to rationally disagree in normal discourse.
I find it ironic that this poster would spew such innuendo all the
while 'switching genders' to make it seem more believable - thus
indirectly slandering the few female posters on the net, while being
too cowardly to offer a real identity. All too typical, unfortunately.
All I can say is this kind of foolishness only makes me think GC is
doing something right. Hopefully in the future the quality of his
enemies will improve.

I've never met Glenn Campbell in person. I have been to Rachel and
the Little A'le Inn. I have met Pat and Joe Travis, Jarod2 (or
whatever it is now), and several other locals. I have talked to
Campbell. Finally, I don't have a position on this little feud.
With that said, this 'article' by Spader is the biggest pile of
slanderous crap I've ever had the misfortune to see. I will grant you
that Campbell has an ego problem, but don't even try to tell me that
the Travis' are normal people. I'm sure they don't remember meeting
me, just just because they meet a lot of people, but because they were
nearly falling down drunk. I an friends attended a 'UFO Convention'
while we were in the area. A more bizarre set of people all pumping
up their own conspiracy theories and egos you have never seen.
Finally, let me leave you with this little thought (no accusations
being made). It is still common practice for the intelligence
community to discredit people classified as risks. One very common
and sucessful way is to spread rumors about odd sexual practices and
proclivities. I don't know if this is what has happened in Campbell's
case or not, but without any solid evidence that he has done anything
wrong, I won't condemn him. If he (or anyone) is convicted of child
molestation, I'll be the first to volunteer to cut his nuts off. But
until that time, I'll go with what I know. And that is that despite
what Marsha has said, Campbell knows quite a bit about military
aviation, security, and proceedures. He can hardly be spouting off
ideas first put forward by Lazar et al, and claiming them as his own,
as Campbell has always rejected their stories.
Oops, Marsha. Screwed that one up, huh?

Of course this asks the obvious question, "Who is Marsha Spader?"
Naturally there's no Marsha Spader listed as a Netcom subscriber. You
wouldn't want it that easy, would you? In fact there's no one with a
last name of Kipling listed either.
There is, however, a Web page associated with the
kipling@ix.netcom.com address. It's "under construction" (aren't they
all), but it does have an extensive resume for
BRIAN W. PURDY
xxxx xxxxx xxxxx
Lake Oswego
Oregon 97034
The rest is a simple Java script to list your directory, but nothing
that mentions Marsha Spader.

[The "Marsh Spader" missive has been added under "Huff Impersonators".
There is also a new page on the Lazar patent claims.]

To Whom it May Concern;
If you are not the author of the Glen Campbell article, please forward
to that person.
After reading the "article" regarding Mr. Campbell I have a few
questions.
First and foremost is I hope you have a lawyer on retainer because were
I Mr. Campbell I would sue for everything you are worth. You imply he
is both a stalker and a child molester yet offer nothing to support
these allegations. I suppose you have carefully worded the accusations
such as "..meets the criteria for one" to avoid legal entanglements.
Your choice of phrasing throughout the "article" reflects a serious bias
against Mr. Campbell. You imply mental illness, indicate he is gay and
worse yet he discredits the media, Lazar and God almighty he has skinny
legs!! I would guess he must be a Communist too but I suppose that
accusation no longer carries the weight it once did. Oh yeah, he lacks
magnetism too.
One thing he does provide is an open forum for those who wish to
comment. The fact that he has posted your "article" on his webpage and
cross-referenced it throughout says something about the man. A great
many facts have been revised in this posting from you and I notice there
is not one single negative word said with regard to Lazar. He himself
(Lazar) has had problems by his own admission, again well documented in
the mainstream press.
One of the strengths and also the weakness's of the Internet is the fact
that a great deal of information is out there for whomever wishes to
access it or post it. Credentials are not required. One can even use a
false name and make false accusations and attempt to pass themselves off
as valid. With such a volumn of information everyone must make a
judgement for themselves. I do not think there is a real Marsha Spader
(using a female name for this sort of thing tends to lend a bit more
credibility, if the name is false). How could anyone be against a
mother raising her sons while protecting them from whoever? Even if
there is a Marsha Spader, the extreme bias displayed in this "article"
invalidates it for me. What I'm really curious about is just how many
orifices have you smelled? Now there would be a story!

Perhaps I can wrap this BS all up. (Maybe) I read back issues of this
group for Feb 96, in which there is a fascinating exchange in dozens
between Huff and Lear and a few others. It seems that Huff is very
very very jealous of his unique position of being a close friend of
Bob Lazar's and as of 96, was antagonistic to Lear, and anyone he
considers to be an interloper, trying to "horn in" on the Lazar event.
Such a person could be Glenn Campbell, and the Spader letter looks
ALOT like Huff's style and method. Many references to outsiders
trying to horn in when they have no right, etc, never knowing the real
truth and will never get a chance to do so,etc, etc. Of course, Huff
is damn lucky he is tight with Lazar, and frankly, if it were not for
that lucky connection, nobody outside of real estate appraisal would
ever know anything about Huff, for he is that, a real estate appraiser,
(as best I know...).
But, let's now ask, what difference it makes anymore?
Supposedly, Lazar has said all he can, and has written all he can,
so it is over for Lazar, and --- for Huff. Eight or nine years over.
Time to move on. The thrust now should be for new insider people from
Area 51, and S-2, etc, etc, to come forth, and tell us what goes on
there. Maybe more about Sherman Ranch, Utah.
Lear, Lazar, Huff, and others have had their time.
Now, it is time to move on.....

In private email, someone wrote:

This much is true, and it is a smoking gun that leads directly to
Hular!
As mentioned by "Martha Spader", I _did_ attempt to "steal" USGS
signals within the first few months of my arrival in Rachel, and I did
write such a letter, but I think I sent only to John Andrews, Jim
Goodall and Lazar (via Hular). (I don't think I sent it to Knapp or
Lear, but I am not certain.) The one-page note said something to the
effect: "Here's something neat. How do we use it?" (I hope Hular puts
it on line, because I don't have a copy.)
The USGS signals were from the seismic monitor on Queen City Summit,
in direct line with the Groom Lake runway. If you monitored the
continuous signal from it, you might be able to detect the
earthshaking "Aurora" passing overhead. Like other USGS monitors, it
broadcasts a continuous tone, which varies in (audible) frequency with
local vibrations. With a radio tuned to the right frequency, you can
hear your footsteps as you walk toward the buried sensor. You can
receive the tone from Rachel. The technical problem is figuring out
what to do with it. (This requires some electronics skills.
Lazar is supposed to be a hotshot in electronics, and that is why
I sent a copy of the letter to him.)
Yup, "Marsha Spader" is Hular! No other suspect would have access to
this letter and interpret it in the same wonderfully twisted Hular
way.
"Marsha Spader" has been added as an alias for "Gene Huff" on the Huff
page below.
