Date: Tue, 30 Sep 1997 00:09:39 -0700 From: [withheld by request] Subject: More "tells" that Spader is Hular Having only briefly followed the personalities involved in this outrageous slander on your character, I make the following observations as a fairly unbiased outside observer. While, rightly so, the Area 51 Mailing List version of the "Spader" expose is cut short, I pulled the original post via AltaVista. [Just posted to the list.] The first, what I will call a "tell," that I noticed right off is the accelerated use of the famous Hular term "goober" when "she" refers to Campbell. This begins with a lengthy explanation, an almost zealous explanation, of how this term came about. Eventually "goober" is used to such an extent that if one were to begin reading the message at the end (the part chopped off the UFOMIND version), one would assume they were reading yet another Huff posting. Seems his curious joy with the use of this term got the better of him and has spoiled his "piece de resistance." The second tell, that was identified in another response already posted to the list, is the constant recurring theme that Campbell is not relevant and all his information is fabricated. This comes back over and over as if the author is trying to convince themselves of this. Indeed, the post essentially closes (4th line from the end) with, "But then that would mean that she believes that Campbell is of relevance out there at Area 51 and he is not, that is all in his computer and in his head." And finally, it is obvious who is still trying to establish their relevance here (I am relevant, I am Lazar's friend, I am relevant, I am Lazar's friend, ad nauseum, ad nauseum...). Rarely is Lazar, Knapp or Lear mentioned alone, but Huff is painted as the wise one, always at the center of the action: "...insight from more knowledgeable people such as Bob Lazar, George Knapp, Lazar's friend and business partner Gene Huff, and.." "He perpetually parroted the original thoughts and observations of Lazar, Knapp, Huff, Lear, and many others,..." "...letters to Lazar, Huff, Knapp, Lear,.." "...Lazar was pretty much a media recluse by this point in time and his friend Gene Huff followed suit." "Occasionally, Lazar would give an interview, but he and Huff would always turn the world media down..." (3 other instances of a "Lazar/Huff" co-mention) "..talked to Lazar, Huff, Lear, or Knapp, they would.." "I saw Bob Lazar, George Knapp, Gene Huff, John Lear, and others on television.." "...from Gene Huff, a friend of Lazar's for almost a decade,.." "If Bob Lazar, Gene Huff, or anyone else of relevance..." The more I glance at this posting, the more it seems to me that the author is a very unstable individual. With this in mind, I find the off-hand comment toward the end very disturbing: "I can only imagine that she hopes the Wackenhut security force has Campbell killed for the headaches he's caused them, and she and her boys can inherit the money." Check Six Glenn, the Freudians are not slipping but spilling out of this post. Seriously, be careful, this person is a nut. Cheers.
