* GENERAL *
Issue #56 of "Paths of Light" is filled with physical time-travel
stories, as they happened to Naomi Albright
and her family (*very psychic* people, even the car/horses
they're riding on goes with them).
Naomi also sells self-published books about angels,
protection dolls, other spiritual teachings, and her fascinating
life (she's the daughter of the woman--L. Taylor Hansen?--who
wrote about Jesus' journeys in America). Naomi's home is called
Angel Walk/Monastery for the Followers of Light. She's been a
regular participant at Leo Sprinkle's Rocky Mountain UFO
Conference.
Subscriptions to "Paths of Light" cost $15.00 for U.S.
residents; $18.00 for Canada and other countries: Angel Walk
F.O.L., P.O. Box 1027, Riverton, WY 82501; (307) 856-7365.

Subject: Find what you want, for a change
"I am writing you about a free and highly useful service. It's called
NewBot, and it's new from Wired. If you've ever found yourself overwhelmed
by the sheer volume of new information on the Web - or underwhelmed by its
irrelevance - NewBot is the filter you've been waiting for...
"With NewBot, you can track breaking news as it happens, stay ahead of
developments in your profession, or pursue a personal passion or hobby. You
can keep an eye on Eastern Europe, router technology, your stock portfolio,
business competitors, the Chicago Bulls, bonsai gardening - anything in
this changing universe that interests you.
"At last, an intelligent answer to ëWhat's new on the Net today?' ... for
people too busy to surf the day away.
"NewBot is easy to install. And free. And pretty cool. We hope you'll try
it out. <http://www.newbot.com/>
"(There is one requirement, however, for this first release. To download
NewBot 1.0, you'll need an IBM-compatible PC and Microsoft's Internet
Explorer 3.0 browser, which you can quickly download from the NewBot Web
site.)"

* UFO QUOTES *
"SYNDICATED TV, TUESDAY, STRANGE UNIVERSE': MEN IN BLACK
(yes, according to Dan Aykroyd, this is where the Blues Brothers
got their outfits...)" --Bufo Calvin
"...It is my analysis that the ending of the official
government's UFO Cover-Up began August 7, 1996, the day a well
orchestrated NASA press conference made the announcement that
evidence for life on Mars had been discovered, closely followed
by remarks by President Clinton and Carl Sagan. The President
called the NASA announcement a major event in our history. Dr.
Carl Sagan, now-late prestigious astrophysicist and former
skeptic about evidence for ET life, labeled the NASA announcement
as representing a paradigm shift in our understanding of our
place in the universe. Given the ambiguous evidence which NASA
trumpeted to the world, it appears that the actual significance
of this globally-hyped announcement was not so much about
evidence of life on Mars, but that the attention of everyone in
the country and the world was being focused on the *fact* of ET
life..." --from Richard Boylan's column, "The Experiencer-Researcher
Report," in the
March/April 1997 issue of "Contact Forum: the roundtable of universal
communication"
<http://www.bluewater.com/~bcrissey/>
"Aliens are acting as cosmic matchmakers--abducting people
as children, and watching them become friends and lovers in
space." --from the May 19th issue of "United Kingdom UFO
Network"'s adaptation (by "People" magazine?) of Budd Hopkins'
book "Witnessed: The True Story of the Brooklyn Bridge Abduction"
"...what I am trying to do on UFO Updates' and the other
lists is spell out a general overview of what I believe is going
on...This Roswell 50th is bringing the debunkers out of the wood
work...I hope that we can hold our own in the press this time
around. It's going to be tough, because honest Roswell
researchers [like Kevin] Randle and [Stanton] Friedman are sorely
outnumbered by these debunkers coming on line. Anybody that
takes the time can see that these debunker arguments don't stand
up to scrutiny from the well-informed on Updates.' However, the
uninformed mainstream press and public can easily be victimized
by these slick talkers." --Ed Komarek <EdKomarek@aol.com> in

" The Randle Report: UFOs in the 90s' by Kevin Randle
[ISBN 0-87131-820-2] is now in bookstores. Published by M. Evans
and Co., The Randle Report' should clarify to anyone exactly
where Kevin Randle stands on the Roswell crash and why. Rumors
have been floating around that Randle was abandoning or giving up
on the case. Nothing could be further from the truth, as
demonstrated by the question he asks in Chapter 13 (The Roswell
Phoenix): ...if Roswell is not the scene of a flying saucer
crash in 1947, why is the Air Force working so hard to convince
us that it isn't? But The UFO Report is more than Roswell. In
this book, Randle examines some of the best UFO cases like the
Shag Harbor Incident, Travis Walton, STS-48 and so. Randle also
takes a critical look at Gulf Breeze, Chupacabras, the alien
autopsy, and Varginha, Brazil. Buy this book (or at least get it
from the library). There is a lot of good information in it and
I think you will like the new Kevin Randle." --from Rebecca

Alert"
