Mr Campbell,
One question: Is this Steve Wilson guy for real? I'm reading his bio, and
I can find no evidence to substantiate his claims that he;
1) Was in the AAF/USAF for 40 years, and was only a Colonel
2) Went to flight school at Kelly AFB (Randolph is the only flying training
base in the San Antonio area)
3) Was a "triple ace" (there's not even a Wilson ANYWHERE as a USAF ace...
much less one who garnered 15 kills in Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf)
4) Was a winner of the "Air Medal Of Honor" -- what the hell IS that, anyway?!
There's more and more inconsistencies, so why go on?
I don't know who this person is, or who he claims to be, but his "bio"
flagged my attention. What a liar.

One other random thought. He claims to have been in the Army Air Corps,
AND to have flown in the Gulf War. If the AF turned 50 in 97, then in the
gulf in 91, the AF would have been 44 years old. IF Mr Wilson was in the
AF for 40 years, then he would have joined in 1954...6 years AFTER the Army
Air Corps ceased to exist.
Let's not even throw into the discussion the fact that NOBODY short of guys
like Eisenhower and MacArthur spends more than _30_ years in the military.
That privelage is waived VERY rarely, if ever.
I'd really like to see more on what "Colonel" Wilson claims to have as
qualifications. What aircraft has he flown? How many flight hours does he
have? What units has he been with? If he even utters "it's classified" or
"I can't tell you", I'm going to HAVE to throw the bullshit flag into the
air once again. How many Lieutenants who come right out of flight school
go DIRECTLY into the black world as a pilot? The answer: none. He's got
to have some specifics to back his pretty outlandish claims. Even if he
WAS in the USAF, he can only bullshit people who ARE IN the USAF so far.
Unfortunately, seems like he's throwing claims like that around with people
who don't know any better, who can't check up on that sort of thing, or
people who generally "don't know" (sounds like most of the UFO crowd, eh?).
Now that I think about it, it might be fun to go shoot holes through every
one of the claims he makes in that bio. I could almost write a Masters
Thesis on it. Unfortunately, unlike Mr Wilson (I won't give him the credit
of having been a Colonel, because he hasn't proven THAT, either), I don't
have the luxury of having the time to squader on such things. Nor do I
have the luxury of being able to talk about my FAKE Air Force career. Some
of us have real careers that we have to concentrate on.
