Just wanted to say thanks for the use of your list of buffet reviews.
Three of us from San Francisco did a mini buffet crawl at Main St.
Station, Palace Station; Fiesta and Fremont St. The last for balance.
Your reviews were right on except for the mention that the Fiesta is a
rather tacky ambience including the tables, but I guess at those prices
and those high qualities I can't quibble. We don't swallow the tables,
well at least not recently
Good job and I agree the Fiesta was the best food and value, but the
bread pudding, my favorite dessert, was better at Palace station. Wide
variety wise Fiesta wins hands down and their beignets were delicous
(all four of them).
In comparison the Fremont was sorely lacking but eating there provided
perspective and context.
