EDITOR'S NOTE:
This is the FINAL installment of "Surfin'." Right or wrong, I'm dropping
out of the UFO field.
Last night's 5-minute reading from an astrologer confirmed what I'd been
feeling about my long-time interior FLUX and FATIGUE: that it's time to
SIMPLIFY (I was warned about being on the verge of "a breakdown"; its
preventive: to withdraw from that which causes me to be "analytical and
critical." There are other parts of my life, besides the UFO field, which
this applies to).
I am concerned, if not disgusted, with the current state of ufology: just
how much Disinformation is out there, to be used to *discredit* people in
this field??? I don't have the breath or gut feelings or intellectual
rigor to stay within this competitive forum. Therefore, I will stop
surfing the net, unsubscribe from mailing lists, and purge my email
directories and files.
Before I go, though, let me tell you how I find websites for "Surfin'":
JUST FOLLOW LINKS. Whether they appear in: someone's sig file, the text of
Michael Lindemann's "CNI News," (the digest version of) Francisco Lopez's
mailing list, other UFO newsletters (like Brian Crissey's "Contact Forum"),
or wherever: See What's Out There.
Read a lot: so that you have "historical" perspective. *Underline* the key
points in what you read: to help you discern "propaganda" from good
content. Read both pro and con. [Without meaning to contradict myself:
I've tried to stay away from Conspiracy Stuff, believing that such
unverifiable info considerably drains my aura/is the fastest way to a
nervous breakdown.]
And, finally, when you find especially good/insightful information: SHARE IT!
