The People's Rally (early on the morning of June 6) at the border of
AREA 51 has nothing to do with lectures or seminars. It is
intended to be a peaceful, public assembly, apart from the hullabaloo
and the loonfest that may take place in Rachel during that weekend.
There is no organization behind that gathering. Those who assemble
at the border may not even participate in the hullabaloo and the
loonfest to take place in Rachel. The central theme will be the
plight of Groom Lake workers, and should remain so. Moreover, as far
as the loonfest itself in Rachel is concerned, besides being free, it
may be even more entertaining than anything taking place in Las Vegas
and may even provide a perfect setting for those in certain PSYOPS
programs (civilian or military?, for whatever reasons)...........an
ideal setting to study the role of paranoid conspiracy theories among
certain segment of the society, particularly during what some people
describe as "uncertain" "pre-millenial" time period in which we live.
(David's DREAMLAND CHRONICLES, Part II??) Again, there may only be
10 persons at the Rally.......or 50......or 200..........nobody knows
for sure who will be there..........there is no organization behind
this event...............it has not been done yet. As for the loonfest
in Rachel.....again, there may be only 10 persons there......who knows
for sure...........nobody will know for sure what will actually take
place there. It will be the people who will decide what will take
place. Probably nothing spectacular will take place, except for a
weekend of relaxation (away from the daily dog-eat-dog world of
economic survival and stress) in the pristine desert environment and a
spontaneous gathering of people all drawn by the continuing "myth" of
America's not-so-secret base called AREA 51.

Succumbing to certain voices of admonishment (which I trust as voices
of reasonably reasonable reason) and certain paranoia apparently felt
by some concerning how the "proverbial" gathering of paranoid
conspiracy theorists would further tarnish the credibility of "serious
ufology" in general ( - there has never ever been any credibility to
ufology, period), the so-called Loonfest as Rachel has been cancelled.
However, the origial People's Rally at AREA 51 will still take place
as originally scheduled, sans the Loonfest. The so-called Loonfest in
Rachel, with all its "proverbial" lectures and seminars, besides being
free this time, would have provided great entertainment far surpassing
that of any act in Las Vegas. The Loonfest would also have provided
for a perfect training setting for certain PSYOPS programs (civilian
or military, for whatever reasons)......an ideal environment from
psychological viewpoint to study the role of paranoid conspiracy
theories among certain segment of the society, particularly during
what some people describe as "these uncertain, 'pre-millenial' time
period" in which we live. (a la David Darlington's excellent study of
this subject in his DREAMLAND CHRONICLES) :) As for the intended
peaceful Rally at the restricted boundary line on the morning of June
6, there is no telling how many would show up. There may be 10
persons there.......or 50........or 200. There is no organization
sponsoring the event. It will be the people who will decide what will
take place. Probably nothing spectacular will take place, except for a
