For those that follow the Lazar saga, a real estate friend of mine
informs me that he recently bought a decommissioned underground Atlas
"F" missile base outside of Roswell, NM. He said that Lazar paid in full
with a check from his company and was moving heavy equipment out to the
site yesterday
Apparently, he and this guy Jon Farhat are converting it into some sort
of Biodome. They have a web site about this thing at

Jon Farhat
President JFI Inc. An entertainment and information publishing
studio. Jon Farhat is an Academy Award Nominated Visual Effects
director in Hollywood CA. Some of his most recent credits
include The Nutty Professor, The Mask, My Fellow Americans, and
is currently finishing a project for 20th Century Fox called Dr.
Dolittle. Farhat combines his extensive background in
mathematics, industrial engineering and computer generated
imagery to produce visual designs, growth analysis and monitoring
systems for the facilities experiments. Co Founder: Terraform

And here is their project...
Ultimately, the purpose of Project Terraform is to create a
subterranean, self-contained environment that precisely
duplicates the ambient temperatures, pressures, atmospheric and
chemical compositions of the planet Mars. This will enable
researchers to perform an ongoing real-time analysis of the
Martian ecosystem based on data from the Pathfinder and Viking
Martian probes. The project will be split into two phases. Phase
1 will test the integrity of the facility by sustaining a sealed
biological Earth environment for a period of approximately 6
months. The 2 story Control Center will monitor conditions within
the Silo Chamber and also serve as the main operations area,
providing state of the art computer and communication facilities
well as a general work area for the researchers involved. Phase 2
will be the conversion, operation and maintenance of the Silo
Chamber into a stable equatorial Martian environment. Total
conversion time of the chamber is expected to take approximately
12 months to complete after the termination of Phase 1.
