Prudence Calabrese once worked for Courtney Brown's Farsight
Institute, but has recently parted ways with him.
Brown and Calabrese are the RVers who predicted that Hale-Bopp
had a companion object, which was later cited as the justification
for the Heaven's Gate suicides.
Calabrese now writes...
"I am writing this to confess my sins: bad science and bad
judgement. I will make no case to exonerate myself. As a
person who is quite capable of making intelligent decisions,
and as a person trained in the sciences, I am embarrassed at
the way I have failed my friends, my fellow remote
viewers, and my scientific upbringing."
Her confession essay discusses the problems of viewing "esoteric
targets."
