Two: I completely agree with your" moderator" comments afterwards. It
seems unlikely that anything very secret will be going on at this
Launch Complex. While it isn't on most maps of Utah, it is not
difficult to get directions to the sight or find. This area would be
a poor choice for the activity we KNOW takes place at area51, such as
experimental aircraft testing and the testing of captured aircraft
from foreign nations- much less testing of any supposed alien craft.
Three: It was not my intent to support in any way the allegations made
by Popular Mechanics about the moving of area51. In fact, I regard
this article as shoddy reporting worthy only of sensationalist tabloid
newspapers. It was obvious to me when reading the article that PM was
simply trying to cash in on the growing popularity and awareness about
area51. The only verifiable part of the story I've been able to find
so far is that the X-33 Experimental Aircraft will land at Michael
AFF, a part of Dugway Proving Grounds, during it's testing phase in
1999.
There are a number of significant UFO sightings and related activity
occurring in Utah, we don't need to muck up the works with second rate
reporting from the likes of PM. My trip to The Green River Launch
Complex was mostly for recreation and to provide a more current report
of what is going on at the facility. I will soon be visiting Michael
AFF for the same purpose.
