Col. Philip Corso Dies

CNI NEWS BULLETIN:
Col. Philip J. Corso (U.S. Army, ret.) died at approximately 11:15 pm EDT on
Thursday, July 16, 1998. He was 83.
Corso, who was widely known for his controversial 1997 book, "The Day After
Roswell," suffered a massive heart attack in early June of this year but made
a remarkable recovery. He was at home on July 16 and was said to be feeling
fine when he apparently suffered a second heart attack. According to a family
source, Col. Corso died at or enroute to a hospital in Palm Beach, Florida.
Details are sketchy at this time. CNI News is awaiting further information
from the Corso family.
