>> According to the COURT RECORDS of the NEW JERSEY STATE SUPREME COURT:
>
> No common lawsuit would be filed in "Supreme Court". The Supreme
> Court of any state is the highest court of appeals. Cases reach there
> only after being appealed from a lower court on some disputed point of
> law.
There is one exception that I'm aware of to that rule, and New
Jersey isn't it. New Jersey follows the normal naming conventions of
the U.S. Court System, with lawsuits being filed in Superior Court.
New York State, however, uses Supreme Court in place of Superior
Court, with appeals being heard by the Appellate division of the
Supreme Court. What would normally be the Supreme Court in other
States is called, in New York, the Court of Appeals.

COMMENT FROM THE MODERATOR
This suggests that Wang/Shulman is accustomed to news reports about
lawsuits in the New York area, so the name "Supreme Court" came to
mind when inventing the New Jersey lawsuit.
...Which brings us another observation about lies and liars:
EVERY LIE HAS A SOURCE. Even if a story is a lie, the pieces of
information it is composed of always come from somewhere -- usually
legitimate sources in the liar's immediate environment. Liars
don't just randomly make up names like "Ed Wang" and "Supreme Court."
Those names come from whatever is circulating in his head at the
time. By studying the lie itself and each word and phrase within
it, you can learn a lot about the physical and emotional environment
in which it was produced.
Every lie contains secondary information not intended by the liar.
If you let him talk long enough, usually the liar himself will provide
all the information you need to disprove him.
Armed with this new tool, I suggest examining the earlier message
entitled, "Common features of Shulman/Wang," at
http://www.ufomind.com/misc/1998/mar/d17-002.shtml.
Re-read the last message on the page -- from a Shulman supporter
at AOL. Any information here?

DR. PAUL PRUEITT NOT AFFLIATED WITH SHULMAN

Subject: Another Shulman Lie?
Commenting on: http://www.ufomind.com/people/s/shulman/
Regarding URL: http://www.acsa2000.net/news.html
On the referenced web page, Jack Shulman talks about the recent
appointment of Dr. Paul Prueitt of Highland Technologies as "Joint
Director" and "Science Coordinator" for ACSA's "Semiotics Laboratory."
I contacted Dr. Prueitt via e-mail. He told me that he has "no
current relationship with Jack Shulman" and that he felt
"uncomfortable with his claiming that I am part of his Board." There
is a pattern here that appears to permeate every aspect of Shulman's
life.
