There will be a Special Presentation in San Diego, California, on Sunday,
November 15, entitled: "AREA 51.....Deceptive Agenda for Psychological
Warfare". It will be held at the King's Inn Hotel, 1333 Hotel Circle
South, San Diego. The presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will go
on till 5 p.m.
It is sponsored by the San Diego UFO Society. One of the topics that the
presentation will cover will be "How the 'government' creates "cover
stories" to conceal research, development and testing of new generations
of weapons systems, manipulates conspiracy theories and how it continues
to benefit from part of the public's gullible and naive beliefs in "UFOs"
and "aliens".
Also, in the meantime, we urge concerned citizens to attend the upcoming
Public Hearings in Nevada concerning the Nellis Air Force Range
(including AREA 51).

FROM THE MODERATOR
I believe Norio is incorrect. The current hearings are for the
renewal of the Nellis Range withdrawal, which does NOT include
the 6 x 10 block of land known as "Area 51". At the beginning
of the process I requested a specific township/range land
description for the renewal, and no Area 51 land is on it.
Area 51 was withdrawn separately and is apparently governed
by a separate process. (It could also be a secret part of the
Nellis Renewal, but that is only speculation.)
The Nellis Range Renewal DOES include Freedom Ridge and White Sides,
if that makes a difference. If the objections to that withdrawal
had no effect 3 years ago, they won't work now.
Unless you know the system and have definable land-use issues,
the Nellis Range Renewal hearings does not seem a useful place to
protest Area 51. -- Glenn
