BELL DID IT FOR SON, FAMILY

Late night talkshow wonder Art Bell temporarily quit broadcasting last
week to help his son, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
According to multiple sources in and out of the industry, Bell's son
was at the center of the dramatic departure.
"While I can't discuss what in fact did occur, I can say this -- It
certainly was not a publicity stunt or contract ploy as rumored by my
competitors and detractors," Bell told his audience Monday night in a
prerecorded announcement.
"It is real and serious. This should become self-evident to you when
you know, and you will know."
Bell added: "To disclose details of what did occur, would have a
rather immediate negative affect on my family and I will not do that."
One West Coast source explains that the reason for Bell's departure is
anything but conspiracy.
"He's a father taking care of his family," reveals the source. "No
aliens or spaceships or government threats. His son needed him."
Specific details of the incident, described as non-medical, are being
held out of respect for Bell's family.
